Day 1

Day 1 of the Camping stay at we had a lovely day! A short trip to Caernarfon in the afternoon and we found ourselves, what turned out to be Marley & Fergusons favourite eatery of the holiday, in a lovely cafe for a spot of lunch. I was suitabley impressed with the non-chaviness of the town and a return visit was agreed upon. 

Once at the camp site we set up and took another walk to a nearby pub for some tea, and then out onto a public footpath adventure where we discovered abandoned houses, nervous foals, stunning countryside views and even a human poo....... I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the kids reactions to the nature on our very doorstep. It was lovely. Then to add to the vibe, we lit a campfire and kept warm around it until midnight. Rum helped too... 

If this day is anything to go by, then it's going to be a lovely family week away.
