A Final View

As the sun slowly rose behind the mountains we crept out of Trstenik and said goodbye. We've had a fantastic holiday, and whilst it wasn't what we were expecting I think our experiences have touched us all deeply.

I can thoroughly recommend this area of Croatia to anyone. The people are so warm, welcoming and stoic in the face of adversity. We haven't explored even half of what we planned, so I hope we can come back and continue where we left off.

All home now, and ready to start on the washing in the morning!
