Hail

I really wish I could say this is a cool digital picture effect...alas, these are real life dents in my car hood from today's golf ball-sized hail. The car is covered in them. Sigh.

Today was my first experience with hail that size in a summer storm. It was nuts! Ice everywhere. I was at work when the storm came and it was deafening against the windows and roof. Thankfully there wasn't too much damage done in and around the city. And, hey, at least it makes for a neat photo!
