Redondo Beach

Said goodbye to Burbank this morning and travelled across Los Angeles to Redondo Beach. Staying in a hotel tonight as an end of holiday treat. Booked in and was told we'd been upgraded to a 'junior suite'. Lots of room to spread out and do that unpacking/repacking thing.

For the first time since coming to LA I've truly felt able to move without being overcome by the heat. Being by the sea is lovely at any time but so welcome today. Here is part of the marina at sunset.

Had a good walk up and down the marina, ate some great shrimps, was given free wine in the hotel, had a swim and am now ready for bed.

Really is the last day tomorrow.
