Kingfisher on a rock

As I approached the walkway near the Kumaras in the late afternoon I could see in the distance what looked like a duck or a goose stuck in the mud- or so I thought. Zoomed in and took a photo and this is what it turned out to be- kingfisher on a rock. My lucky day.
I did walk further on to check on a cycleway sign but not up yet.
It was busy with walkers, dogs and cyclists so my extra is a wide angle shot for unofficial widwed.
