Bowl Of Good Memories

Inspired by the two recent champagne-themed shots - and a comment by Shuttersister... here's our current collection of corks from various bottles of fizz that we've enjoyed over the last year or so. A few champers but more cava and prosecco. 27 in total. Not entirely sure what we're saving them for but they are accumulating in a bowl on a shelf above the cooker.

Ironically given the recent deliveries of the fizzy stuff, I'm on the post-holiday wagon! Maybe tomorrow I'll be ready to be a bon viveur* again...

* French for 'good liver' ;-)
