My photos are currently down to just one a day, not quite what I expected but there you go. It has been a surprisingly active day, beach volleyball, swim, tennis, swim in the sea. When I say active I mean in a watching the children be enthusiastic type of way. It was a very cloudy day but I still managed to come out of it with a bright red face, however this is the journey I must make to become suntanned but it was a bit of a surprise.

Hannah and I spent a happy hour in a variety of gift shops so I could buy birthday presents for my mum. Converting Mauritius rupees into pounds requires a working knowledge of multiplying and dividing by 2 and 100. We are incapable of doing this consistently to the point where all sanity left us in a jewellery shop and the lady ended up shouting prices out after tapping away on her calculator. Her daily for not actually having anything priced up, we nearly left when Hannah calculated the first bracket to cost £120 but were persuaded to stay when it turned out to be £12.

Cocktail hour entertainment provided by Will this evening with his tongue twister game he played at school. And after several days of testing, I am plumping for the piña colada as my no 1 cocktail of choice, it is v tasty - although I still don't know what the spoons of white powder are, the barman assured us it was cocaine. I think that makes it a very reasonable price but obviously I am probably wildly wrong.
