Mother and daughter in a rocky place

Here they are surfing on a whale back in one of the local rivers. Actually it is a rock - there are no whales in the rivers up here.
Having eaten out last Thursday with some English friends, this spot was recommended as a good swimming spot and indeed as such it turned out. Shade, deep water and beaches all made for a comfortable hour or two.
In the evening our builder with his Vietnamese copaine came over for dinner and a convivial evening was had by one and all I hope.
