Safely arrived

Have lost track of where I'm up to with Blip, so now doing some back Blips.
Finally arrived at the Casa da Insinua, having returned home north with 48hrs of Hector. Have hosted a large family gathering meanwhile together with my Father. Yesterday flew out to Porto and joined by the children from London to pick up a car and drive out to this most delightful and charming Baroque style hotel for the second part of my niece's post nuptial celebrations. It was the home of an important colonial administrator in the mid-18th century with an extensive estate and beautiful formal gardens. It's rather like staying at a NT property!
