The moment
Are there moments, full in meaning that motivate us (all) in a temporal ‘event driven’ manner within the productivity of our everyday lives? Moments that, in their instance bring past, present and future together (Lefebvre, 2008), and that make us stop, reassess, alter our perceptions, or keep us sustained in our motivations? It may be these moments of success, disappointment, hope, fear, love, dis/connection, that encourage people to carry on with their causes, or that remind them of the human need to ‘respond’ to another individual (Diprose, 2002). Relating these experiences not only contextualizes the present, but also highlights the “linkage between historical past, present and future” (Goodson, & Sikes, 2001 p.9)
