Behind the Lime Door....

So, I'm still at work, I managed to get finished last night just before midnight, but am not so hopeful tonight.....We have a wedding tonight..I know, a wedding on a thursday...strange!!!! so that means a very late finish, plus we need to start resetting for another one on Saturday, plus a private dinner for 38 in the Library, as well as normal service!!!!...times like these I question my chosen career...lol... I love it really!!!!...
So, I'm quickly taking 5 minutes out in order to blip.... my Manager thinks its hilarious that I blip everyday, and asks usually around this time if ive done it or not...as I said no, he dragged me round the hotel in a " blip hunt ", and sent me off to do it...lol

So, here is a very private door...sorry its not much, but there are 120 crazy drunken wedding guests next door, but as well as the wedding, my GM is dining in the restaurant, so its the best I can do!!!!

Anyway, just after taking this, " I got to thinking ".......This door may look uninteresting on the outset, but behind this door you will find the equivalent to Mary Poppins bag, Narnia reincarnated, an abyss......and so much more.......
1...The flower room....Yes, we have a room dedicated solely for flowers, 90% of which we grow on the grounds...
2...The accounts office....okay, maybe a bit boring...but if you remember from my description of the hotel on 29th May...the accounts office used to be the present owners bedroom when she was a child!!!!!
3...The Kitchen....the door nearest the dessert fridge...and the cute pastry chef....game on!!!!
4...The staff room and canteen...this is where I regularly find catch the male members of my team brushing up on the football....lol
5...The Gun room...Wow...lol...YES....we have a gun room, where we store any residents rifles should they be on a hunting break....this is standard law
6...The micro herb garden...we have a small green house, where the chefs grow all their micro herbs, its great!!!...
7...The Wine cellar...this is the main wine cellar, and so houses all the reserve wines that we sell.....which is quite a lot...a guest today referred to the wine list like reading War and Peace.....lol
8...The General Managers office... were I spent 2 hours in today for the Heads of Department meeting......it is scheduled to last 30 mins, but never happens...lol
9...The stationary cupboard....okay, maybe not too exciting, but to me it is...lol...branded pens of every colour, calculators, paper, envelopes, hole punches, ring binders etc...Heaven!!!!
10...The back door out.....and where I hope to be heading very very soon!!!!!
