Calanais
Today's itinerary was dictated by the need for supplies, so we headed into Stornoway for food shopping, then back to the croft for lunch (after a worrying moment where the petrol station we were banking on using had run out of fuel).
Keen to get outdoors, I suggested a trip to Calanais standing stones. I do love it there and this time, we called into the nearby Hebridean soap factory where I fell in love with their whippet puppy.
The stones were tricky to photograph as there were tourists cluttering up the place. As it is, one snuck their way into this one, but they made me smile, so didn't get cropped out.
Then pasta rotolo for tea.
