Petrol powered pushbike

Perhaps it is a two-stroke engine; it looks as if this is the brainchild of an enthusiastic engineer.....  I thought at first that it was an elaborate joke, but have persuaded myself that it is genuine.

The engine is a great deal older than the seat.  The bicycle frame looks as if it is several decades old.  All a little odd!
