Homeward bound...

Leaving the big city behind again ... Yet again with mixed feelings.

Hate the city - particularly on a day like today when train drivers are taking industrial action!

But also hate leaving son #2 - who despite making some progress is understandably quite fed up after 13 weeks in hospital.
The fact that he is fed up is a sure sign that he is getting better - as he has no idea as to how poorly he was he doesn't quite grasp why we are all delighted that he can now stand and walk a little and is able to have fluids!
