The Wall

Today we drove to our next B&B in Berwick upon Tweed. We stopped at Carlisle to take a peek into the cathedral.
Next stop was Vindolanda at Hadrian's Wall. Very impressive. Close by we found a picknick area with access to the wall. So we took a short walk and stepped back into the past so to speak. Amazing piece of history in beautiful landscape. The sky seemed so huge there. 
The weather was nice as well which was a bonus. When we arrived in Berwick it was overcast but still dry. Our room in the B&B is fairly spacious which is nice and the owners are extremely welcoming. Another good choice. :-)
