Baking Day

We baked beetroot and chocolate brownies today. Mmmmmmmmmmm!!!!!
As well as baking there was much shouting, crying, sulking and drama.
Suddenly the rest of the holidays are looming long and depressing.
Miss E had gymnastics this afternoon for the first time in ages. While she was in there I paid for her and Miss L to go to the gymnastics Summer Camp over the next few weeks.
Miss E came out in tears distraught that the new group is too hard, she hates it, she gets in trouble if she doesn't do things right, the coaches are mean, she HATES it, she never wants to go again, don't I understand she hates it.......
Oh my God.
I'll try and talk to her about it when she's less sensitive and irrational.
Perhaps in ten years or so.
