RHDR
Today has been a full day. Waited in until the men who are supposed to be finishing the wall (another story there) and then off out to the Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway. For non locals who may be reading the RHDR is a miniature steam railway that runs between Dungeness and Hythe and is quite a tourist attraction. The New Romney station is just up the road from where we live, so no car needed. We took the girls first to Hythe and a walk along the Military Canal, feeding ducks and a stop for chocolate milkshakes. Then back to Dymchurch for the funfair. £20 later back on the train out To Dungeness. Brian and I have been out there a couple of times and now we all decided it's ' not for us'. A strange place and although I am not averse to the abnormal and strange, this is a strange too far for living in!
Once home, a walk for Dog before out to the local Italian for dinner. My photo is of Megan trying to be elegant whilst not smiling for fear of revealing the broken front tooth and Mollie being her normal cheeky self.
It's just 10pm now, and I am the last person standing! Everyone else either in bed or snoring on the sofa!
