Lily and Friends

For 3 days I have tried to capture thee friends together: red lily (very fragrant. last of the clematis meandering in there, and the very very last of the bleeding heart leaves in yellow.
It looked more perfect yesterday after two heavy rains, but still the combination has been immortalized. This group will never be seen in the same way again.
I notice in this year's gardens that everything is tightly packed and blooming over, under, and on top of everything making arrangements like florist's bouquets. It could be because we have enjoyed regular days of rain, mostly cool nights that serve to make the flowers last.
And even this will not be repeated again, so I will enjoy this summer while we have it...
