Looking through the rain

We finally had a good rain shower after three very dry and hot weeks!  I sat on the front porch in the rocker just enjoying the smell and the coolness as the temperature dropped from 99F to about 80 which felt wonderfully cool. Even though it was pouring rain in the yard I could see the blue sky through the trees.  It wasn't much but I am thankful.

Maybe tomorrow my grass with be green instead of that sick brownish yellow color!

Good thing it rained or I would have been looking for a blip!
