On the Hop and a Visit to the Horsepiddle
Every now and then Spring feels as if it has already arrived....although I am aware at how sneaky the weather is..... and how it likes to play tricks. I actually started to crack out some lighter cloths the other day and now I am sitting here rugged up.
The Jasmine in the garden is starting to show herself and f course the fragrance wafting is so powerful to bring back memories of years past when it heralded Spring in what seems like another lifetime.
An emergency blip tonight as it has been another big day. A trip to the horsepiddle to see Dad.....still hallucinating he had Jaiya and I in stitches....with his crazy stories........and giving the nurses hell...(they call him the trouble maker already)....and still I am so thankful that he is trucking along although ....still .....in a lot of pain.
“Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.”
