Dinnertime

The three birds to the left are young swallows and they sat on the wire patiently waiting for an adult to come along and give them something to eat. I was patient, and Riley cooperated by staying relatively still, and I was able to get this shot of the adult feeding one of the young ones.  In the extra shot you can see one of the adults on its way.

Mr M is working night shift, so after he left I took Riley for a walk, checked on our little baby turkey who is adjusting to a new environment because he is getting too big for the box he started in, went through the whole row of yellow beans and picked a basket-ful, washed dishes, then sat down and cleaned the beans so I will be able to can them tomorrow evening.
