Ancient and Modern

I have been working at the local University for 6 weeks now and I am not feeling quite so much a new girl! I am beginning to know my way around which is a big improvement and, although the prep for my job has been very time consuming now it's all sorted I can relax and enjoy the job. The students are great and I really enjoy spending time with them, so that is a bonus!

The University itself is a very long standing one, it was originally a Teacher's Training College but has recently been upgraded and is now The University of Winchester. Some of the buildings are beautiful and really old, but some - like this refectory is modern. The blue window just caught my eye today and I liked the fact that some of the original buildings are just the other side of the glass.

Well, we are off for a firework night supper with the family.. we might even go mad and have a few sparklers!!! Stay safe.
