Finally........

.....I managed to get a shot of this one. I think it is a little grebe but it wasn't making a sound so I couldn't hear its call to give me a clue. Normally they dive and hide but this one was ok with me at a distance plus it was across the other side of the drain. I was surprised how it stretched  its neck longer than its body to reach up at a reed.

Wasn't a guide today but a bit of an ambassador cos I met some Dutch people which was very interesting.:-)
