St. Joseph's Oratory

Oratory - a place of prayer. We attended mass in the crypt church (so called because of the shape of the arches) in the lower level of this spectacular shrine and then toured a part of the complex. S wants a return visit in order to see the beautiful gardens surrounding the Way of the Cross.

This is the view from the steps of the main church which seats 2,000 and can accommodate 10,000. The extra shows the view of St. Joseph's Oratory from street level.
