It was cattle show day and son won money in the Open high jump which proves that nothing ventured, nothing gained! It stayed dry and today's blip would have been of open moor land on the way back but as I went to bed, I looked out. You could still see a sliver of light as the sun set but we had a 'lid' of cloud. It stayed dry overnight though. This is to remind me of longer evenings
