It's a mounting....

.....block by the 'old red barn'.  Afraid that this is the best photo that I took today.  This lovely old barn was restored by English Heritage (I think) some years ago.  

I took this on the way back from attending the presentation of £500 from WessexWater towards the upkeep of the Community Cider Orchard.  Unfortunately it was also noticed that some 12 trees had been vandalised overnight and probably ruined.  Why....oh, why, do they do it I wonder?
