Get a room!

A busy day fussy cutting (quilters will know what I mean) 150 rectangles ready for 2 quilts. It took me all day, but its done and the novelty fabrics are all put away. One is for the volunteer driver who takes my mum to shops every Tuesday. He is very kind and I really appreciate what he does.

Oh I almost forgot,  remember the school quilt I entered into the Festival of Quilts under the primary school section. I got a phone call yesterday - we came second! So chuffed. I have text the Headteacher to tell her. We have won £100 and I am hoping to put that towards a better sewing machine to use with the children. 

Sitting in the conservatory this evening Mr PB spotted this pair. Tut, and on my new wall. Oh well I left them to it!
