I tried to get a shot of the hordes of tourists making them way to the Parliament and the Palace but as I lined up the phone they disappeared out of view.  This is a German tour bus though, honest.

Although it is only previews from today with the Fringe and International Festivals kicking off on Friday the town is already busy.  Ah well the 'fighting our way up the Royal Mile' season has truly started.

Work was office, Leith for a very well attended meeting for once , office, then home to listen to #2 son#s frustrations about Belladrum and watch last night's tv.

I'd planned an early night after last night's early morning. i failed.
