Salt River Canyon

A way point on our trip to Pinetop was the Salt River Canyon. It is a Grand Canyon for Seniors because one can drive to the bottom. 

On the way we stopped in Mammoth to look at God's Filling Station which offers Tuneup Service on Sundays. It is a creative use for an abandoned gas station.

We stayed overnight at the Pinetop Holiday Inn and had prime rib at Charlie Clarks Steakyouse. Their meat is aged for 28 days and is very tender. A special toilet seat is  displayed in the barroom.
