Barrel cactus

Day four in the cut-short weeklong cactus project. This fella is near a trail at North Mountain Park. It was only 100 degrees when I went. It's cloudy with a chance of a thunderstorm, so there's some relief from the past few 110-plus-degree days.

I leave for San Diego tomorrow. That should be fun. Photos won't be posted until I return.
