Rain means play

Horrible day today, so now that I'm home from the office ( actually my local coffee shop ). I'm going to do a bit of reading of the mountain of industry mags I haven't got round to picking up yet; a little bit of exploratory search engine optimisation ( I still don't really understand it ); then a bit of gaming ( yay!) before I pick the kid up from school, get her ready for the school disco, take her up to school again, come home, then go back to pick her up again. In the pouring rain.

I'm feeling sorry for myself anyway and just want to curl up today. I happen to be gluten and lactose intolerant and one of those things must have entered my system yesterday without me realising. Feel like I have the hangover from hell today as a result.

In other news my crossed fingers yesterday worked. My small submission got passed this morning. Incredible difference in the year since I last put anything in there. It used to take 2 weeks at least.

Plan is now to go out and work on another submission and keep submitting small amounts 2 or 3 times a week. Once I'm confident I'll start making bigger submissions. It's great news, because it means I can keep working even when it's quiet, and because I'm just starting up and haven't even advertised yet, it's quiet right now :).
