John Logan Campbell

Out and about this afternoon, checking up on the site of my only Auckland job that is under construction. This image is of the approach to Cornwall Park off Manukau Rd, a scene we pass frequently on the way to the airport. The statue is of John Logan Campbell, a wealthy businessman from the 1800’s who gifted his land around One Tree Hill to the people of New Zealand. A wonderful facility in the middle of suburban Auckland.
