DEFYING GRAVITY
Exercising his wings, the oldest “baby” (by 5 days), got the thrill of his young life.
While jumping up and down and flapping his wings, a big ole gust of wind caught him.
Propelling him from the nest out into the vast sky.
Suddenly he flew. His wings keeping him aloft. Mom took to the skies to join him. Swooping and swirling around and under him. Certainly, an event to celebrate.
Cautiously, he kept his next below him, a safety net.It didn’t take long for him to tire, and he lowered himself down to his home. Soon collapsing in a heap.
He did it, and we saw it. What a day. What a thrill
