Morris up Close

Photographing cats can be so frustrating. This afternoon I had a session of trying to photograph Morris and Molly, our Maine Coon cats. They decided to make it difficult for me. Morris wanted to play and Molly kept her head down and continued to wash herself. In the end I settled for this close-up of Morris in a playful mood, staring at me and daring me to scratch his tummy.
I enjoyed today's session of Pastel Painting at the Art Society. Such a talented group of artists, I feel quite humbled working alongside of them. I am making slow progress.
