What is this strange sight?

For you fortunate people in other parts of the country, or indeed the world, you have to imagine how good it is to look at the garden this morning and see sunshine.    The patches on the grass are re-seeding - and I have not had to water them at all so far.    Thanks to the wettest summer I ever remember.

Maybe there will be some remediation due.....
