Blossom and bee

I've been eyeing up this blossom for a week or so now and decided that this afternoon (since it was the first in a long while that I was actually at home in daylight!) was the day to shoot it.

I used my long lens and so was chuffed to see this little bee in the shot once I got it onto my computer.

Cousteau and I had a fantastic, hour-long, walk around the wetlands and discovered some new places we'd not been to before. Fun times.

Then off to the airport to pick up my lovely hubby.

Red wine and finger food for dinner.
