Off to the Loch

Tuesday's walk with Cumbernauld & Kilsyth Ramblers took me back to my childhood roots. It was a circular walk from Cardowan, through what is now known as Cardowan Moss Local Nature Reserve (which was a combination of old pit workings and wasteland 'in my day'), around Hogganfield Loch (now designated Hogganfield Park LNR) and then back to Stepps the same way.

The forecast was for rain but, thankfully and surprisingly, it stated dry.
