our roller derby practice got canceled this week, so Ruby and I went to another rink for "open session" . she tried to help me with my transitions and we made some friends! in this picture she is helping a novice skater with his skates. he was asking us for tips about skating backwards. we also met a few "rink rats" who wanted to know who we were and what we were doing on their turf (in a nice way)
