Cows at the Gate

Spotted them as I drove past and as there was no one behind me I was able to back up and into the little lane.
The cows became very excited - they were already gathered at the gate as if expecting someone. When I stopped others from further afield made a beeline for the gate. They became aggressive with each other, vying for space. I swiftly left.
