Florentine

This morning I went to Saffron Walden with Nicola and Victoria; it was a ‘nail’ day. Prior to our appointments, we did some shopping and then as we had time, decided to go for coffee. We discussed various cafés, but decided on Café Cou Cou. I had been there once before, it was where we met for a blip meet. On that occasion they did not have anything ‘gluten-free’, but today, they had five different gluten-free cakes. I wanted one of each, but that would have been rather too many to eat all at once, so I settled for the Florentine, which is today’s picture. It was sticky and gooey and chocolaty, with lots of cherries and nuts; I will be going there again.
