Summer Party

Today we had our Summer Party at the Sidmouth Club.

It was superb! We had live music, lots of dancing and the food was fabulous. The first duo sang Norman Wisdom's "Don't laugh at me for I'm a fool" which made me weep as Dad sang it often and a friend sang it at his funeral. 

Half way through this video is my Dad singing it...

And I was swept off my feet by an Octogenarian called Len. He was a bit unstable but he was back in the 1940's  and probably thought he had pulled! It was all immense fun!

In other news, my husband and I are now mortgage free!!! Hurrah!!!!
