Paella

A good lunch with a group of friends, is one of life's little luxuries!
Today we were in a traditional family run Spanish restaurant, on the sea front in Altea, within walking distance of the fishing port .......plenty of fresh fish and shell fish on the menu.....and lots of rice. Perhaps, our restaurant might be more accurately described as an 'arroceria' .....rice dishes are their speciality.....
....today's Blip shows our paella mixta for 5 people.....the paella is put on the table....and every one helps themselves!...serving spoons, knives and forks are available....but traditionally you can serve yourself using one of your mussel shells.
..... a couple of bottles of chilled white Rueda wine accompanied the feast!.
