Woollen knitted Lincolnshire churches

Sleaford, Spalding, Boston and Louth churches  have been knitted in local wool under a project run by the National Centre for craft and design in Sleaford.
All these churches owe their origins to the strength of the wool trade in years gone by and to celebrate that and the 500 year anniversary of St James' spire in Louth they are being exhibited in  St James  church. What dedicated and talented knitters have done these beautiful to scale models.
