Metro to Manchester..

Brilliant trip into Manchester today on the metro with some amazing clouds to keep me company!  The St Peter's Square stop is being completely rebuilt so you now have to get off at Deansgate Castlefield which isn't so  bad on the way in but it's really good on the way back to Altrincham because now this is the beginning of the journey which means the trams are completely empty.  I am going to miss that little benefit when we get back to "normal" later in the year and the trams will come from Piccadilly again and be practically full when they reach St Peter's Square, two stops down!  Oh well....
