World Champion!

It was the final day of the World Championships today, in Glen Affric.  The men's race went down to the final few minutes with last year's four leading men out in the forest with little to separate them.  This is Thierry Gueorgiou of France, already a holder of twelve gold, three silver and four bronze medals (and a thoroughly all round good chap too!) coming in the run in to the finish with the spectators cheering him on!

I got my money's worth today in Glen Affric taking two and a half hours on my course.  It was very challenging physically and navigationally and I wasn't up to it.  Hey ho, it's still good to be in Scotland and enjoying the atmosphere of the event.  Tomorrow is the last event of the Scottish Six Days back in Glen Affric and then it's home and preparations for Jen and Pete's wedding!!
