Speckled Wood

A beautiful lunch time walk, the third game of squash not happening due to illness (not mine).  Blue skies, gentle breeze, and occasional cumulus. 

The butterflies were out in Toft wood including some mammoth admirals as well as some small blue butterflies.  Unfortunately the focus-while-zoomed on my camera doesn't work well so no captures.  I should perhaps start taking the big camera out.  Fortunately this fella stayed put long enough while sunning his wings.

Hopefully I'll sun my wings tomorrow ...
