Like A Scene From Jurassic Park..

Dorset: Day 7
Like a scene from Jurassic Park we were intrepid fossil hunters today, determined to find the elusive Ichthyosaur or Plesiosaur bones...alas a piece of a squid like creature about 2mm in length and an ammonite smaller than my little finger nail was about the best we could manage...

Luckily Lyme Regis has plenty of museums to see the real thing and the boys are already planning a return trip in the winter when the storms make fossils more likely!

With a sunset like we had this evening we were not to be beaten and had to show our joy by jumping like a frog!
