MORNING GLORY
Looking back I don't seem to have done much today. The weather was warm-ish but dull and it looked like it might rain - but it didn't.
Neil phoned and asked me to get his cricket bag ready as he is playing tomorrow. The team must be desperate as Neil hasn't played for quite some time. To find his bag I had to delve through the junk in the spare front bedroom. Then I had to heave the bag out and down the stairs. I can tell you that a fully laden cricket bag is a heavy thing.
I walked down to the village this afternoon. Just to Tesco. The shop had no other customers so it was a quick and easy shop.
I came home along the back lane through the allotments - this is where I got my blip shot. Its Morning Glory - also known as Bindweed. Although it produces attractive flowers it is often unwelcome in gardens as a nuisance weed due to its rapid growth and choking of cultivated plants. It is difficult to eradicate because the seeds remain viable in soil for up to 20 years and one plant can produce up to 500 seeds. I'm lucky that its in the back lane and not in my garden.
