Last Cactus Standing

The show has been shown, the applause has died down, and there is nothing remaining 'cept to send in the clowns.

The comedy western musical got there in the end, they always do. The routines went well, the kids did their bits great, and most of the gags worked. (Including the Cowboys and Injuns gag with the Injun named "Google" - He was a search Injun... although we've been trying to work out all week whether this is an acceptable gag these days. It's a bit of a minefield out there).

When we had all but finished striking the set, I took a quick cheeky lonely cactus shot for the blip. Seemed apt somehow. I would really have liked to put up a blip of the whole cast, but alas child protection rules understandably prevent such things now. 'Twas nice to have something more colourful though, breaking 5 days of monos, and sending my red/green colour blindness haywire. It's actually quite trippy when I stare at this for a while.

And on that note, I'm going to wind down with a glass of Rum. The neighbours just returned from a holiday in Cuba and bought us a fancy bottle of the pirate's favourite. Got to be done :)
