A thin red line

Not sure what we saw over the moors in the distance - it may have been a Hen Harrier but probably not.

Later there was a Buzzard calling but the two may be unconnected. Many Red Grouse on the moor all walking away refusing to fly. A good tactic until 2 loose dogs approached. Every other potentially interesting bird seen turned into Woodpigeon. Some wader contact calls - I'm guessing but possibly Dunlin
